When we prepare for Christmas by pondering its real meaning, we prepare to experience the Christ and His message.
President Dieter F Uchtdorf shared three ways that we can prepare:
1.Rejoice in the Savior’s birth.
2.Ponder the Savior’s influence in our lives today.
3.Look steadfastly for the Savior’s coming.
By doing these things and looking for the good in the season, “we can
see this time of year with new eyes—perhaps even with the eyes of a
child.” Then, he said, perhaps our hearts, like the Grinch’s heart, will
change as we look beyond the worldly aspect of Christmas and come to
understand and refocus on the true meaning of Christmas.
